The arch, ankle and cuff are elasticised to prevent the sock from sliding down your boot. The natural qualities of merino wool allow the fabric to breathe transporting moisture away from your foot. Merino wool is odour resistant and does not smell, a definite advantage when your boots come off after a hard day on the slopes.
